The VWR Symphony Model 3074 is a water-jacketed CO2 laboratory incubator designed to provide maximum temperature stability, precise gas control, and robust contamination protection for cell and tissue culture growth. Triple-Walled Water Jacket : Surrounds the interior chamber with 11.7 gallons (43.5L) of temperature-conditioned water. This design absorbs ambient fluctuations and retains heat during power outages or frequent door openings. CO2 Regulation : Utilizes a thermal conductivity (TC) sensor to accurately and continuously track carbon dioxide levels inside the unit. Contamination Protection : Employs a fan-assisted HEPA filtration system that continuously purges airborne particles and safeguards samples upon opening the outer door. Decontamination Cycle : Built-in 90°C moist heat high-temperature cycle effectively eliminates contaminants without requiring liquid chemical sterilants. Inner Glass Door : Features an internal glass barrier allowing researchers to view cultures without disturbing the internal atmosphere.
