Distek Opt-Diss 405 is an in-situ UV fiber optic dissolution testing system designed for the pharmaceutical industry. By utilizing fiber optic cables and specialized probes directly inside the dissolution vessels, it eliminates the need for conventional TRUE sample removal, filtering, and media-loss calculations.

Patented Arch Probes: Features stationary resident "Arch Probes" that utilize a horizontal light pathlength. This eliminates the need for mirrors or prisms and prevents the particle and air bubble entrapment common in vertical dip probes.
Rapid Multi-Vessel Sampling: The system can sample from 6 vessels simultaneously with data collection speeds as fast as every 5 seconds, providing dense, high-quality data points for detailed dissolution profiles.
Scientific-Grade CCD Detector: Simultaneously collects the full UV spectrum from 200 to 405 nm (or 195 to 405 nm depending on configuration) for accurate baseline correction and unrestricted post-analysis calculations.
